Karate!

Beach Wedding

A long time friend of our family was married at the beach in July. Danny was my Sunday School teacher and Youth Director for a long time. We go to church with Keri at FBC-Troy. We are very excited for both of them and Danny's boys!

New Pool!

Who knew two inches of water could be so much fun? Thanks Papa and Uncle Duke for all the help getting the ground ready!!

We have a new pool at our house and the kids LOVE it (mom and dad do, too!)!! These are a few pictures we took the Sunday afternoon we set it up. The kids had a BLAST with only a few inches of water. In fact, they may never have as much fun as they did on the first day. Austin Kieff is slowly getting over his fear of the water and Caroline took to it like a duck in water. Neither like their ears wet or to go under!

Happy Second Birthday Claire!

We celebrated Claire Clark's second birthday in July. I graduated with her daddy Wesley and work with her mom Crystal. Claire has another present due in a few weeks...a baby sister!

Austin Kieff enjoyed Claire's Mickey Mouse cake!

be as close as Wesley and I were growing up!

Austin Kieff loved the dolphin pool!

Jordan Family, Where Have You Been?

Well, I am not sure what to catch up on first...most recent or in date order?? It will probably be a hodge podge, but sure to include LOTS of pictures! Check back to see exactly where we have been and what we have been up to!!

Austin Kieff celebrated his 4th birthday the Cowboy way...with wranglers, cowboy hat, boots and PONIES! He had a wonderful time celebrating his birthday a few days early with friends and family. We are going to celebrate on his birthday (the 9th) with cupcakes for his class and a special surprise...his dad and I are picking him up early from school and going out to dinner.

He will have fun celebrating a few days late, too!! Party #2 in Cullman on the 19th!! I had made party reservations at the Space and Rocket Center, but he decided today that he wanted to party at the Lake. Smith Lake here we come!! Now, I will work on the third set of invites (I had just finished the Space invites!!) and plan a Lake party complete with fishing and fireworks (quiet ones like sparklers and definitely no firecrackers!!)

Thank Goodness for Wal*Mart and Facebook

Last Friday I had a late night run to Wal*Mart to pick up a few things for Austin Kieff's first t-ball game...chairs, sunscreen, goody bags, candy...well I had a wonderful surprise in that I also ran into an old friend from high school. Julie is one of the sweetest and kindest girls I know. It was so nice to reconnect with her and I do apologize for blocking the aisle for all of those who went around us!

Julie's little boy Preston needs our prayers. The following is from Julie's post on facebook:

Subject: Preston
Asking everyone to please pray for Preston today. He went back to Birmingham. He saw his gastroenterologist. He told us Preston had dropped down to the thirteenth percentile on the growth chart and wanted him to take in more calories. The nuerologist wants him to stay slim so his muscles won't tire easily. Hopefully they will consult each other soon. Preston is to continue with the same medicines, he is changing formulas and adding the abc diet to try to stop the constant diarrhea. We are trying to find the balance of enough medicine to help him be hungry but not move food through system too fast. We are so thankful for how far God has brought him. We are so happy that he is growing. He is growing at HIS pace. He saw his pulmonologist. He has a respiratory infection again. Please pray this runs it's course quickly. Preston is not feeling very well today. Thank you to everyone for every prayer that has been said on Preston's behalf.
